What inspection and quality control processes do you follow?

All boards go through a full AOI inspection, Leadless components a sample inspected by X-ray and all inspectors are internally trained to IPC-A-610

Do you provide both leaded and lead-free assembly options?

Yes we can cater for both Leaded and Lead free processing.

Can you handle fine-pitch and BGA components?

Yes, with class leading Capability from 008004 passive components to 0.2mm pitch BGA devices

What file formats do you require for assembly?

Ideally ODB++ which allows full manufacture of a product from PCB to Flying Probe test, for legacy products we can also digitise boards from Gerber

Do you offer rapid-turn PCB assembly services?

Yes, we offer labour turnarounds from as little as 24hrs.

What is your minimum order quantity for PCB assembly?

We have no MOQ, we machine build every board even for 1-off qtys

What types of PCB assembly do you offer (SMT, THT, mixed)?

EAS/Rapid offer all types of assembly, Specialising in high-tech fast turnaround projects

What is your typical lead time for PCB fabrication?

Lead-times can start from as little as 24hrs for simple pth/2/4 layer boards, more complex mutli-bond stacked vias 10-15 days

What PCB materials do you offer for fabrication?

Our network of suppliers have access to all types of materials including VT-47, PCL370hr, FR408, IT-180, MT-40, Tec-Speed, Megtron and Rogers materials

What certifications or quality standards do you adhere to?

The business is ISO90001, ISO13485 certified, are people are certified to IPC A-610, IPC J-STD-001, IPC 7711/7721, IPC/WHMA-A-620, including the IPC J-STD-001HS space addendum. We are also on track to gaining our AS9100 qualification by Q4 2025.

Do you manage the entire electronics manufacturing process in-house?

We manage the whole process from start to finish from the design to PCB and BOM procurement, assembly and test. We take full responsibility for delivering your product on time and to specification

How quickly can you turn around urgent projects?

We have reduced the manufacturing cycle to days not weeks, our most popular service is 3-day PCB, 2-day assembly (depending on complexity).

What is the minimum and maximum PCB size you can assemble?

Our equipment can handle a variety of sizes, ranging from small boards (less than 25mm x 25mm) to larger boards up to 570mm x 570mm as standard. For unique sizes, contact us to discuss your specific requirements.

What data do you need to quote?
